The Mituo Nanliao Fishing Port is an inshore fishing port at the Mituo District. The trade for fresh catches takes place in the early morning. Sellers and buyers alike form a vivid image of the local life with daily hustle and bustle. As the trading ends, the place regains its serenity, with colorful and featured fishing boats swaying back and forth in the quiet blue harbor. Soon after sunset casts its fiery red, inviting visitors to stroll on the wooden trail or the beach and to take a rest in the pagoda nearby. The port won the title for the most attractive Fishing harbor in Taiwan in a national competition in 2010.
