La place des Ducs de Bourgogne est derrière le palais des Ducs, par où vous entrez au musée des Beaux-Arts de la ville. C’est une jolie place avec de nombreuses maisons médiévales transformées en magasins, pensions, hôtels… Certaines ont une histoire depuis le XIIIe siècle, comme la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Dijon qui se trouve à proximité. Devant le palais, vous pouvez voir des ruines des anciennes extensions, maintenant dans le jardin public du centre de la place. C’est un lieu tranquille, et vous pouvez entrer au palais de ce côté, ensuite par la place de la Libération. Quand la neige couvre les toits, c’est beau à voir, surtout la nuit, avec le palais illuminé.
