The Sakam Sea Wall Walkway at Zihguan became a great recreational spot after its 2002 renovation. Sitting along the red-tiled floor are sculptures of the 12 Chinese zodiac animals, and fish that symbolize plentiful life. On the vast coast, the old lookout with new, colorful painting and relief stands out among other pavilions, the designer solar-powered lamps, and other facilities. The great view of the sky and the sea during sunset, as well as the visitor-friendly layout of the seaside walkway has attracted many people and bike riders to come and enjoy the nature, the sun, and the breeze with a slight smell of the sea.
