The mother settlement, Szeged Kiskundorozsma organized it from his border in 1949 independent parish the green groceries blooming by today are famous for his growing, Zsombó lying on a rich "Sand Back" (Homokhát) in the sunlight.

The name of the settlement today's Rózsa Sándor it is derived from the name of an area behind a wayside inn named after a rogue. After the proprietor's name the oedematous, area overgrown with tuft sedge "Forro Somboja" they kept recalling it on a name.
