Cap de Formentor. Atalaya de Albercuix. The length of the peninsula 12 kilometers and width of up to 3 kilometers. This is one of the most popular and symbolic sights of Mallorca. Atalaya de Albercuix - guard tower, fortification, built in the XVI century. Used to monitor the approach of the Moorish pirates. Signals were with smoke by day and fire by night. This fortress is situated at an altitude of 390 meters above sea level.
