Inaugurated in 1952, the works have begun in 1943. Work of Antonio Palacios. The tower, with a height of 52 m., combines symbolism and expressionism, presides over the front and is a different module, joined by several staggered slopes, to the body of the church, which aims to symbolize a cross at the crossroads. The portico is covered with thick ribs inspired by an early Gothic, supported by four solid foundations, traced with stepped buttresses. The nave, divided into two bodies, presents in the first the Baptistery and the sacristy, inspired by the architecture of the palaces and fortresses of Galicia. A large parabolic arch divides the two parts, nave and roundabout. As voussoirs, interspersed with stained glass, are the Apostles and Jesus, carved in situ by the stonemason Jesus Saavedra. The roundabout is drawn by eight thick columns with an octagonal base.. Above them stand the large parabolic arches which, in turn, house other small stepped arches, drawn from the Burgundian Romanesque. In the Temple of Veracruz, historicism, expressionism, symbolism and colossalism are combined, which, together with the use of granite.
