The eastern boundary of the suburb of Spotswood is formed by the 242 kilometre long Yarra River close to its mouth where it flows into Hobsons Bay. The area along the river is a large old industrial precinct with views over Yarra River, the Westgate Bridge and the Melbourne Port in the background.
