The Love Pier has a special dual-sails design, towering over the estuary of the Love River. It was opposite to the downtown Kaohsiung and Cijin Ferry Pier, and one can enjoy the urban skyline of Kaohsiung City from here, while also peering upon the Port of Kaohsiung, experiencing the awe of colossal vessels docking the harbor. The harbor offers great scenery both at night and day.
In order to experience the beauty of the Port of Kaohsiung, you can also ride the ferry departing from Love Pier to Cijin: it has regular ferries that go to the Port of Kaohsiung. Another sightseeing ferry line is added during holidays – between the Cijin Fishing Port and Love Pier. The entire trip is around 90-100 minutes, which allows you to familiarize yourself with the beautiful Kaohsiung City from another perspective.
