Strazhitsa Art Gallery's structure was seriously damaged in the earthquake (magnitude of 5.7) that hit the region in 1986. Though the building has been left open to the ellements of both nature and society for more than 25 years, it stands still and stable and there is a hope it could be brought back to life.
