"Kloster Banz" is a former Benedictine monastery, one of the most beautiful Baroque monastery in Franconia. The complex is located in a terrific location above the right bank of the river "Main" at "Lichtenfels". Since 1978, the monastery is a municipality part of the town of "Bad Staffelstein". It serves as a conference center of the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

Wikipedia: La Franconie (en allemand Franken) est une région géographique et historique du centre-sud de l'Allemagne. Depuis 1815, elle est annexée à la Bavière, dont elle représente aujourd'hui environ les 2/5 nord du territoire.
