This is one of the joys of the park, the main restaurant enjoys a great overview of the whole area, believe-me, it's great to have lunch or dinner in this place.
The Markádia Camping is a natural park in the middle of Alentejo owned by a lovely Dutch couple who carefully planned the park and cared to keep it preserved for many years.
The park is located in the Odivelas Dam near Alvito and last year, during the month of July, we spent there our weekends enjoying this great place. We had great fun and my kids loved it, of course we will return this year for another set of great weekend getaways. Spending great time like this with the family is priceless, this will be on our memories for a long time.
