Church of San Palmerio
Sardinia

The church of San Palmerio was built in Ghilarza and lies near the Aragonese tower and the church of St. George, mentioned in the "Santa Maria di Bonarcado Condaghe" (XII-XIII century) as a place where you took the "crown" (hearing) to resolve disputes local. The architecture features many Romanesque monuments of the island. The plant dates from the first quarter of the thirteenth century and it appeared with wooden roof and steeple surmounting the facade.
