Cliff Crater

The tricky path on the east side of the Coastguard Lookout Hut at Hurlstone Point, which leads to a short stretch of loose cliff for the final descent to Selworthy Sands.


I've was told many years ago that the crater visible on the shear rock face (bearing 120°) was made when a German bomber returning from a visit to Cardiff during WW2 dropped an unused bomb. How true this is, I'm none too sure.
