Dragonhead Mountain (Duona Bridge)
Taiwan

The newly built Duona Bridge opened to vehicular traffic in May 2012. It is a single steel arch bridge that spans 172 meters, the longest span bridge in Kaohsiung City. Duona Bridge was awarded the 2012 FIABCI-Taiwan Real Estate Excellence Award.

Its gentle shape and white colors blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape, making it a new landmark in Maolin District. To prevent flooding, its supporting steel beams were built 5 meters higher than the waterline peak of the flood caused by Typhoon Morakot in August 2009, to ensure the safety of life and property.
