On October 7, 1831 gubernium ponorbertański have consecrated the monastery in Nowy Sacz in the place of study for the Jesuits of the burnt monastery in Tyniec.

Church of the Holy. Spirit, founded in 1400, built for many years in the Gothic style. Burned in a fire in 1611. Destroyed the nave (the original only) rebuilt in Renaissance style. Gothic was preserved only in the surviving chancel. After the dissolution of Premonstratensian in 1784 the church was turned into a military warehouse stores, and the altar with a painting of Our Lady of Consolation were boarded. The church and monastery were given the Jesuits 10 II 1832, the Jesuits, however, stayed here from September 1831. Church consecrated again 10 June 1832, Bishop Francis Pisztek, it was renovated in the years 1833-1834.

College-story of the foundation for Premonstratensian Jagiello of 1409, was developed by the Jesuits in the years 1840-1844 by adding the three wings. The college was located from 1832 study of theology, and since 1846 also the study of philosophy for Jesuit seminarians.
The Jesuits led pastoral work, introduced the Lenten sermons and retreats. In 1839 with the consent gubernium Marian Sodality was erected. In the convent of Poor Clares in Stary Sacz gave the annual retreat.
Banicyjnym Decree of Emperor Ferdinand of 8 V in 1848 the Jesuits were expelled from the Austrian monarchy.

After seven years of Governor Gołuchowskiego rescript of 5 VII 1853, and 25 VII 1853 the Board reinstated the Jesuits church, housing for five men, a salary and a mill. The Jesuits established a residence here and gave their mainly pastoral.
In 1895 the college opened in philosophical studies for Jesuit seminarians. In 1901 he bought property in Zabełczu and arranged in the villa resort for professors and seminarians. In 1905 the Jesuits bought the property eventually ponorbertański church, monastery and gardens. In 1922, Small Seminar was opened for candidates to the Order. After moving to Krakow philosophy in 1926 the building was allocated to house Sodalicyjny, expanded too small seminar. Initially accepted after 10 students in 1927 after its enlargement numbered 51 students. Every year, several seminarians wstępowało to order.

Chaplaincy is now next to the mass. the preaching and confessions (fixed shifts). Growing cult of Our Lady of Consolation, by continuing the novena, a number of Marian devotion (among others. Upper Room), and pilgrimages. Apostleship of Prayer and the Living Rosary operates in 13 groups rosary. Is practiced devotion to Divine Mercy. At the parish Parish Caritas also works. To 1950 worked at the church Marian Sodality. Since 1904 there was a separate Marian Congregation for railroad workers. Sodalicyjny House, built in the years 1932-1936, which opened in 1936, was a separate building, located outside the monastic buildings of the team, had the greatest time in a theater.

During World War II mansion converted into a college with studies FILOZ. 1939 to 1945 and studies Teola. for some seminarians from 1940 to 1943. Although studies of the occupation took place without major difficulties.
After the war he moved in 1946 FILOZ studies. to Krakow and the monastery was once again the residence of the Little Seminary.

12 XII 1950 the church established a Jesuit parish. 5, 1950 the property was nationalized in Zabełczu. Also in 1950 Sodalicyjny house was occupied by the Cooperative Grocers Association, which is great for a theater remodeled rooms, they took the older part of the house and garden, giving them the use of the Department of Social Services (nursing home). 2 III 1951 the mill was nationalized. 3 VII 1952 Small Seminar was finally liquidated. 10 VIII 1963 Cardinal. Stefan Wyszynski has crowned the miraculous image. Work continues to focus primarily on the parish pastoral work, use the Marian sanctuary, catechetical school and caring for Catholic associations. After 1990, former House Sodalicyjny recovered, a significant portion of assets in Zabełczu, part of the garden and the mill, which was launched in 1994. In 1992, the recovered Sodalicyjnym House opened a dormitory for the boys from school and educational work undertaken.
