East Sidewalk near Coles Crosswalk (Daytime View), Port Melbourne VIC Australia
Victoria
Taken shortly after the long standing Port Melbourne Locksmiths closed up shop and were taken over by a new Frame Shop. The front window is displaying a selection of my Little Planet Prints. Find them here: http://yourdigitaleye.com/little_planet_prints/ Many are also hosted in full resolution on 360Cities.net Click on my name and explore in full detail. The Coles grocery store across the street was the scene of an armed robbery on Jun 16, 2012 just a few days after this pano was shot. Just 2 shops to the north on this side of the street was the location of the Victor Peirce hit on May 1, 2002. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Peirce

Victoria's mainland and islands have a total length of 2,512 kilometres coastline which is about 4.2% of Australia's 59,736 kilometres of coastline. Australia is the driest inhabited continent and Victoria is no exception although the state capital Melbourne has the reputation to have 4 seasons in one day. Victoria is located in the southeast of mainland Australia and includes the most southern point on mainland Australia at Wilsons Promontory National Park.
