Estonian exposition at the Baltic Tourism Trade Fair in Riga
Riga

Lust for travel and new experiences is the driving force of the Balttour trade fair that takes place every February on Kipsala, now for the 17th year already.

Companies and organisations from all over Latvia, the far and near abroad get together to bring their products to the public – countries and regions, tour operators and tourism boards, resorts and hotels, museums and embassies, artists and craftsmen, air and ferry lines – well over 200 participants took part in the event in 2010.

More About Riga

Originated from a small fishermen village, for centuries Riga has been an important part of the trade chain between Russia and Western Europe. A lively crossroad of cultures and backgrounds for over 800 years, the historical centre of Riga has accumulated an impressive cultural baggage and today is justly included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage list.
