Furkapass
Switzerland

The Furkapass, at a height of 2.436m, connects two Cantons in Switzerland: Uri and Wallis. This panorama was taken at the high point of the pass with breathtaking views of the surroundigns.  In the foreground, you can see a sign that indicates the border between the two cantons. The pass is only accessible in summer.

In 1964, some scenes of the James Bond movie "Gold Finger" were shot on this pass.
