Germantown Avenue Bridge
Philadelphia

One of a series of stereoscopic spherical views of the bridges in Philadelphia's Wissahickon Valley Park. This is the one farthest upstream, between The Morris Arboretum and Chestnut Hill College.  It was built early in the 21st century to replace a similar one that was deteriorating.  The DOT wanted a straight bridge, but local residents organized to force them to duplicate the beautiful sweeping curve of the original.
