A 400' aerial view over Sonora Pass (elev. 9,624') in the High Sierra Nevada west of Bridgeport, California. Highway 108 crests here amidst the volcanic portion of the Sierras before the westward descent towards the Central Valley. From here one can see Sonora Peak to the north & Leavitt Peak (false summit) to the south.
