A look at Cherry Creek Canyon in the Emigrant Wilderness near Cherry Lake, California.  The entire region is a spectacular glacial-sculpted landscape of granite slopes & domes while the creek meanders through creating canyons & potholes.  The canyon is best known by kayakers for its Class V rapids.  This view several hundred feet above the creek shows various erratics.  The entire descent from Kibbie Ridge to this location was thick with brush & quite exhausting.
