Abyss and castle of Pazin
Istria

The impressive abyss of the Pazin stream in the karst cave had attracted attention for a long time, of both curious European travel writers and scientists and speleologists.

The Pazin castle is now home to the Ethnographic Museum of Istria with displays of traditional costumes, textiles, farming implements, fishing equipment, musical instruments, and household items.
