Koraal Tabak was one of the first nine company plantations. It was a fairly large plantation, 492 hectares (1216 acres). Tobacco was one of the products, but not for a long time. In the heyday of slavery (third quarter of the 17th century), Koraal Tabak was a slave camp.
In the 1960s the country house served as a restaurant for a short time. Now only a ruin remains.
