The village of Gorgusello traces its origins back to 1500-1600 and is composed of two distinct towns: Gorgusello di Sopra and di Sotto (in the picture). It is characterized by the architecture of the buildings, with stone walls and roofs, staircases and towers.
The village was abandoned by its citizens and this preserved its orignal structure, characterized by the presence of inner courts.
