Milan by night: Piazza della Scala with Theater and City Hall (Palazzo Marino)
Milan

The "Piazza della Scala", La Scala Square, is one central place of Milan, connected to "Piazza del Duomo" by the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (visible in the back of the 360 photo): it shows some of the most elegant palaces of the city. Obviously the most important building is the world famous "Teatro alla Scala", built in 1777-1778 by architect Piermarini. Opposite to the Theater is Palazzo Marino, the present City Hall of Milan, whose costruction was ordered mid 16th century by Mr Marino, a very rich tax collector. In the center a statue of Leonardo Da Vinci.
