"Miltenberg" lies on the left knee of the Main Square between “Spessart” and “Odenwald. The “House at the Giant” is a historic landmark of Miltenberg and is the oldest guest house of Germany. Barbarossa, Emperor Frederick III., King Ludwig of Bavaria, Emperor Charles IV, and Empress Maria Theresa were guests. In the 20th Century slept Richard Strauss, Theodor Heuss, Hans Albers, Heinz Ruehmann and Elvis Presley in "The Giant".
