Miltenberg - Gate Tower Mainzer Tor
Franconie

The Gate tower Mainzer Tor in Miltenberg is a late medieval five-story building.. It was first mentioned in 1379 as the westernmost access point to the city. The crenellated platform is crowned by a two-storey structure with a pyramid roof. The coat of arms above the gate passage indicates the builder, the Archbishop of Mainz Adolf I von Nassau.
