Miltenberg is characterized by its special location on the Main between Odenwald and Spessart, only the western entrance of the city did not match the cityscape. So it was decided to build an attractive development at the Gate Tower Mainzer Tor for 9.5 million Euros. The construction work was completed in 2019 and the museum depot, the city archive and the youth center with a wide open staircase opened their doors.
