Mount Cole Reservoir constructed in 1881 is a relatively small reservoir of 801ML which is still supplementing the water supply to Ararat.
The reservoir is a great location for bird watching or a picnic but is only accessible with vehicles with good ground clearance.

Victoria is located in the southeast of mainland Australia and includes the most southern point on mainland Australia at Wilsons Promontory National Park.
