The Obstanser Ice Cave is a cave in the Carnic Alps, Austria, 2173 m above sea level. It is the only large cave in East Tyrol. The alpine hut at the nearby Obstanser lake is a stop on the Carnic High Trail, a popular, multi-day hike along the ridge of the Carnic Alps, but most hikers miss this spectacular cave.
