The Old Barge is a traditional pub on the banks of the River Lee in Hertford. A little way down the river is where narrow boats (narrow barges  -  now turned into houseboats) tie-up so there is a good chance you will meet some bargees in the pub enjoying a pint real ale and checking their e-mail on the landlord's broadband.
