City History


In ancient times during the supremacy of Rome, at the confluence of the Danube Mlava created the Roman town Viminacujum. Viminacium throughout its history developed and became the largest city in Upper Moesia. It originated in the mid-first century AD, Viminacium until the end of empire had a crucial role in events important for its survival. Viminacijum the Huns destroyed the 441st vol. , But was rebuilt in the first half of the 6th Century to the time of Justinian.

Pozarevac signed 1718th Year history of Pozarevac starts. First Serbian Uprising in Pozarevac began in early March 1804th Vol. Pozarevac was liberated from the Turks when the uprising came Pozarevac Karađorđe which the Turks surrendered. Milena Pavlović-Barili
          
Milena Pavlović Barili was born in the 1909th vol. Very early on showed his talent for painting. Guided by his restless spirit Milena Pavlović Barili came to London, Spain, Paris, America, in which die 1945th Visitors to the gallery can see the permanent exhibition of the famous painter (tempera, oil on canvas, watercolor ...). In her paintings are mostly occurs one person. Miles was very beautiful, and her paintings looked like her. A large number of tourists visiting each year this magical realm of painting, especially the time of the biennial (November), "In light of Milena"-art event which brings together participants from home and abroad.

Ethno park or open-air museum

Tulba is one of the few ethnic-parks in Serbia. The ethno-park is a well with a winch, log houses, house broken type. The conceptual solution is to build an amphitheater for theatrical performance parličitih events, several craft shops in order to maintain traditional crafts for which this famous region known.


Čačalica
     
Čačalica a memorial park, because in this area are three monuments. Memorial Park is located on the same hill above the town, at an altitude of 200m. The first monument that you come up dedicated to the patriots executed during the Second World War, and the third is at the top of the hill is the "Monument to Freedom".
 
Čačalica is covered with over a hundred species, many diverse plants and flowers. Also there are three sources with good quality water for drinking. Made a number of paths for recreation, walking ...



Congregational Church

Cathedral Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel raised by Prince Milos Obrenovic 1819th Vol. and during his stay in Pozarevac she was catholic hram.Liturgije were held, and Milos Obrenovic and his family and various guests, and in presence of this beautiful act. O n the western side of the church is decorated with a portal in Serbian-Byzantine style.
