René Goscinny painted wall, Angoulême (France)
France

Painted wall dedicated to the French comic editor and writer René Goscinny (1926-1977). He created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Morris and Goscinny collaborated on the cartoon series Lucky Luke, Goscinny also wrote a series of children's books known as Le Petit Nicolas with Sempé and Iznogoud with Jean Tabary. The portrait of Goscinny as well as these various characters of comic strips can be found on this painted wall inaugurated in 2020
