Rochester Cathedral, Kent
England
The second oldest cathedral in England, after Canterbury, founded in 604AD. The present building was rebuilt in 1080 by the French monk, Gundalf of Bec, the same architect responsible for the Tower of London. It was later expanded in the Gothic style and features a 14th Century door, also one of the oldest in England.
