"Rothenburg ob der Tauber" is famous for its old town. Already the gates inspired by its imposing medieval characteristics. The gates “Spitaltor”, “Klingentor” and “Rödertor” are still used as a driveway, barely wide enough for one vehicle. Climb on the gate "Rödertor" the city wall and follow the road “Röderschütt”. You'll reach the blacksmith Gerlach, one of the most beautiful half-timbered houses in Rothenburg.
