The "Spitalbastei" (also Spitaltor) in "Rothenburg ob der Tauber" is a fortress with two kennels, seven gates and a drawbridge. It is the youngest and most powerful bulwark within the city walls. The plant was completed in the 17th Century, but some of the components are older. The tower was built in 1298 and on the keystone of the arch, the annual number is 1586th.
