Sommerhausen - Market fountain and town hall
Franconie

The market fountain in Sommerhausen standing in the alley Maingasse on the corner of main street outside the Hotel Ritter opposite the town hall. The fountain was built in 1574, served to supply the population with drinking water and was fed by a water pipe from the mountain. The knight embodies the market law of the community and wears a 3-layer face mask in sky blue due to the mask requirement. Perfect!
