World's largest truck
Montagnes Rocheuses - Alberta

The Terex 33-19 is on public display in Titan Park, dubbed the world's largest truck located in Sparwood, British Columbia.  It actually isn't the largest anymore, but held the title from 1973 to 1998 until the Caterpillar 797 was launched.  Assembled in 1973 in London, Ontario, Canada, the Terex 33-19 was used for open-pit mining, starting off in 1975 at the Eagle Mountain iron mine in California where it removed 3.5 million tons of earth before being moved to the Sparwood coal mines in 1978, in use from 1983 to 1991.  Afterwards, it was retired & put up on display here in 1993.  Some fast facts from the nearby sign include:

Les montagnes Rocheuses ou « Rocheuses » (en anglais : Rocky Mountains ou Rockies) désignent une grande chaîne de montagnes intracontinentale dans l'ouest de l'Amérique du Nord qui s'étend sur plus de 4 800 km depuis le Nouveau-Mexique au sud jusqu'à nord de la Colombie-Britannique au nord. Elle s'étend sur le territoire des États-Unis et du Canada. Son altitude varie entre 1 500 m près des hautes plaines et 4 401 m au Mont Elbert dans le Colorado. Sa largeur est comprise entre 120 et 650 km. Les Montagnes Rocheuses prennent une forme oblongue, étendue en longitude sur plusieurs milliers de kilomètres.
