The Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana is a Spanish national monument since 1889. It was originally a Benedictine monastery and acquired the rank of Collegiate straight by Augustinian canons in the eleventh century and the present appearance has been preserved from the twelfth century. Even the name of this Cantabrian town comes from the Collegiate Church (Sant Iuliana - Santillana)
