This is "the quad". It's the original playground area with the corridors and classrooms making a rectangle around it. The s-shaped walls were not there when I attended, nor were the CCTV cameras or the yellow bins. It was just one open rectangle, with usually at least one game of football taking place at one end (usually Mrs Taylors end at Room 118).
