Canale di Tenno - medieval town
Trentino - Südtirol

This is the medieval town of Canale di Tenno - Trentino - Italy, 20 minutes from Riva del Garda.

The town's location to the side of Ville del Monte protected it from attack by mercenaries, bandits and armies. Today, Canale is a sort of open-air museum. Besides being a world-famous art town, its great urban heritage has been preserved thank to support from the Tenno authorities. The town's rebirth came about in the latter decades of the twentieth century, when it changed from a place abandoned by its inhabitants to an international tourist location in just a few years.
