旗津旗後燈塔

清同治2年（1863年）打狗開港，商船往來日繁。光緒9年（1883年）於旗後山北端山頂上，興建漢式方形紅磚建築的燈塔，內設英製六等單蕊定時光燈，見距約 10 哩，以維護夜間船隻進出打狗港的安全。日治時期，燈塔重建，燈塔底層為巴洛克式建築風格，主體後方則是八角形磚塔，頂部為圓筒狀，設三等電燈，見距約20.5浬，並有24小時電報發報系統。今日所建的旗後燈塔，為日治時期所重建，清代所建的燈塔，僅留存基座部分於現今燈塔北邊。
