12th and Passyunk
Philadelphia

This municipal parking lot between 12th Street and Passyunk Avenue, in the heart of South Philadelphia, is the site of two big two-panel murals.  At the  South end, a double portrait of a WWII submariner; at the North, panoramic views of the neighborhood circa 1920 and 1940.

There are high resolution mosaic photos of these murals and others at http://tksharpless.net/PhillyMurals/
