Abandoned Railroad Passenger Car
Philadelphia
Hiking from a Delaware & Raritan State Park parking lot towards the Lambertville Wing Dam, you pass two abandoned railroad cars. One I believe to be CNJ Coach 1318 and a Conrail Hopper. The cars sit on tracks left over from the old United New Jersey Railroad and Canal Company. The railroad and cars ownership has since their inception, changed ownership and apparently sit now abandoned. The cars are now at the mercy of mother nature and graffiti artists, to be photographed by passersby such as myself.
