As well you can see the famous PistenBully PB 170 D started being built in 1976 - still proudly in use on to prepare the slopes of the Ski Lift Aftersteg. The PistenBully of the Langmattlift you can see was built in 1981 and has the identification PB42 170D and the Serial Number 10 73 2040.
The Ski Lift Aftersteg, the Langmattlift, is absolutely non-profit. All the people arround Markus Albrecht are working for free. All the revenues form the lift tickets and the Kiosk are used for the Lift and its maintainence and for the PistenBully. Also Sponsorship is important and is playing an important role for the existance of this Ski Lift - new Sponsors are welcome !
The Kiosk offers a nice and simple location for your break while skiing and is a good place to listen to the alemannic dialect spoken in the Black Forest - if you want to improve your german skills visit the Kiosk during your skiing and especially for the Apès Ski.
And remember every Euro you spend, will be used fot the Lift and the PistenBully !
By the way this goes to the management of PistenBully.com in Laupheim:
Please, be so kind in case the old Pistenbully of the Ski Lift Aftersteg brakes down, help those people here. Help them in case of maintaining or bigger repairs of the vehicle but also in case they need a new, used PistenBully !
