Agia Galini, Statue of Icarus and Daedalus
Greece

This is a Statue of Icarus and (his father) Deadalus, the two men, where held despite their will by king Minos in Crete. In order to escape they made a set of wings, from bird feathers and wax. They used them to fly away to athens, but Icarus, being young and adventurous, flew to close to the sun, the wax melt, and Icarus drowned in see, near the island Icaria.
