At a little over 6,400 feet elevation, Aguereberry Point offers a spectacular view of Death Valley stretching from Badwater Basin in the south to the Funeral Mountains in the north central part of the park. The Tucki mountains rise to the north blocking the view of the northern portion of the valley. To the south, the highest range in the park, the Panamint Mountains rise to over 11,300 feet at Telescope Peak. Also visible are Furnace Creek to the east and north of the view point and on a clear day, Mt. Charleston rising almost 12,000 feet 80 miles to the east in Nevada.
