Alesund, Aksla Viewpoint, Norway
Norway

Alesund, Norway is both a municipality and a city. After a huge fire in 1904, making about 850 buildings in the city to ashes, the town was rebuilded in an amazing Jugendstyle architecture. If you ever visit Alesund, you must make a visit to the amazing Aksla mountain view point (418 stair steps). From this location there is a panoramic view of the archipelago, the beautiful town centre, and the amazing Sunnmøre Alps.
