社子地區，為台灣台北市士林區的一個次分區，係由基隆河注入淡水河口處所形成狹長半島。

近年來台北市政府努力開發社子島地區，努力建造環島單車道路、水上樂園，因為長年未開發的關係，是台北盆地少有的大面積低度開發空間，造就當地自然生態；由於當地交通發達，對外聯絡以橋樑居多，可往返士林、蘆洲、三重、北投和高速公路，方便了各地旅客，成為了自然生態、親水樂園、單車運動的熱門觀光聖地。未來社子島開發將成為地區親水住宅、都會型休閒娛樂中心、國際觀光遊憩中心、地區性就業服務區等。
