The "Predigertor" used, during it's existence, to be one of Freiburg's 5 main gates to the city. Nothing to be seen of it anymore and today's imitation: let's rather not talk about it! At the location of the statue showing St. Albertus Magnus, there was a Dominican cloister, that was destroyed by bombs in 1944.
